Lots of stuff seems to go down at once- but we're going to try to give you all a few hooks to make sure that you've got something to RP with in the CTA so you can all get credit in some way, shape or form.
The inspiration that gets provided to everyone is a +1 forward to all rolls. I (Jay) take full responsibility for blowing this perfect opportunity up for you guys to get a really good head start.
That said, Maya will need time, a clear mind, and a good piece of quietude in order to really connect with Yggdrasil now that it's being confronted on so, so many different fronts all at once. Weirdly enough, the strangest thing happens - as if Silvanus has prepared himself to make nature dead silent for you to hear this (thanks, Will!), Maya's able to establish a connection with the world tree, scoring an 18 on the roll.
She makes first contact, and, as you can guess it, all is not well with the tree. Opening this discussion with it changes the world around you. The four of you notice that you're no longer standing in the same spot you once were, but rather, enveloped in a bubble of reality as you replay the image of beautiful day in Shadowdale- the elves of the forest not even recognizing you or acting as if you're corporeal- they go on about their duties. There's something going on here, though, as you can tell there's apprehension in the area.
You get to relive the moment that the Netherese empire fell, the moment that Yggdrasil began its long descent into its sickly state. You understand how it came to be so corrupted; plague had hit this town and the wash of undead, necromantic energy was sweeping through the thickets and trees like wildfire.
Until someone approaches, and the scene starts to change. You look down at Maya and realize you're seeing someone else, doing the exact same thing Maya is attempting to do- communicate with the tree. Only it's not Maya, it's a beautiful elven woman with golden, flowing hair. You hear someone tell her "Ylsevele, it's too late- there's nothing we can. Ylsevele, my lady!"
And all of you, aside from Maya are abruptly aware that you're not yourselves in this vision. You're elven guards, and you're being called to fight something you can't see just yet. It gets worse before it gets better. Will, Shuichi and Sayori, you're asked to pick up your spears and attack... your own countrymen.
The plague has hit them, and their features have turned postuled and vibrantly disgusting. You must make a last stand to protect your queen- all as Maya continues to sit and pray, trying to listen to what Yggdrasil is asking of her to do.
The scene fades in and out- one moment you're reliving the last moments of Yggdrasil's life, the next you're back in Shadowdale, protected by a mystical calm.
Maya attempts to take every bit of positive energy she can, understanding the pain that the World Tree has gone through in the last centuries, and forces everything she has into the center of Yggdrasil.
Keeping her calm and meditative is hard - Will is yapping in your mind incessantly until you close the door on him (he was the only one who failed to keep her concentrating) and, well.
Everyone else scrambles to get option B to start working. Time to put this bad boy to rest.
Sleeping it fails (3).
Maya's not conscious and can't spear the tree.
Shuichi tries to concoct a poison, and that... fails (total, 8). We're going to take body from this, since it seems most appropriate when handling poison. He's going to lose a finger clean off as he tries to prep it. He screams out in agony, as it falls limply on the ground and begins to deteriorate. Will is quick to lay on hands to help cure him, but it's plain to see that there's just... pure, necrotic damage at the stump of where it once was.
Sayori, realizing that she has little time to spare, dips an arrow into the botched batch and aims true, speaking the words inscribed for use.
And knocks an arrow straight into it (18).
Yggdrasil gives one last breath of relief as a gust of wind pulsates outward throughout the forest, shattering every leaf in the Cormanthor forest into dust.
Silvanus takes the wheel, sensing that the fate of this world and every plane of existence around it is in terrible, terrible danger. As Will is attempting to heal Shuichi, he bolts upright. His eyes draw plain white as a deep voice, not his own, speaks out into the group.
"There is not much time. The leaf. Bury the leaf and give her a new chance at life. Do it before the connection between our planes is vulner---"
And then, Will stands in place, possessed by a God who no longer can connect. He's left on hold for a few moments, and then, as if nothing happened, looks to see why he's no longer standing over Shuichi.
Maya will wake up, in a few.
But probably not in the same condition she was before all this.

You critically failed.
The next thing Maya realizes is that... she's in the board room of a very tall corporate tower.
